Looxii Beta Graphics
Looxii.com will be launching a private Beta version in the next couple of weeks, and these are some of the graphics that I created in Illustrator for the landing page. They are just a sneak peak of the awesome html layout that Adam Rice created for the page.
I created the grayscale graphics using Illustrator opacity masks and the mesh tool for custom shadows. The paper stacks represents "sorting," the line chart represents "tracking," and the pen and paper represent "analyzing."

The Orphins Artwork
Somehow I ended up creating the artwork for The Orphins new album. Since I'm in the band this shouldn't be too surprising. You can get a taste of it in this flyer that I made for the upcoming release show on August 15th, 2009, at the Drunken Unicorn in Atlanta, with The Selmanaires and Club Awesome.

Bicycle Race Flipbook
Each image was hand-drawn, with the help of a scanner and tracing paper, for duplication over frames. The outcome of the race is dependent upon the speed at which you set the movie to run.

iPhone app experiment

Based on ZoozBeat's iPhone apps, I recreated a new image as experimenting visual style. I haven't made all the icons for instruments except the electronic guitar. Program uses are Illustrator and Photoshop.

Loss, Undersea

I am currently working on visual images for Loss, Undersea project at ICE Lab. These are a few figure examples.
"Loss, Undersea is a multimedia interactive narrative project by Fox Harrell in which a character moving through a standard work day encounters a world submerging into the depths. As a user selects emotion-driven actions for the character to perform, the character transforms -- deep sea creature extensions protrude and calcify around him -- and poetic text narrating the loss of humanity and the human world undersea."

Sci-fi Guy
I hit up Book-Nook this weekend and decided to do a series of images based on elements from cheap 70s Sci-Fi book covers. I'm really just getting inspired by the strange pictures and going from there.
