Night Sounds

Huddled against the dark, the small bear is concerned about all of the sounds in the night.

The Lake

The Lake is an image that combined different elements of paintings I've done in the past. Having taught Bob Ross classes before, it is fun to try to integrate some of the process painting methods on the computer. The harlequin diamonds generate a background that helps with the scaling effect.

The Trees

This is an image that came to me as I was falling asleep. I really like leaving the open sky or open space in an image. I based the deer on a photo from my mom's blog.

Water Dragon

This is an image of a water dragon that I made yesterday. It was based upon a small pencil line drawing I did on notebook paper. I wanted to keep him simple and graphic in quality to maintain the line drawing look, but I also wanted to add a bit of color as well.

Jorge and the Pimps

This is an image that is based on a photograph of two of my friends' pit bulls playing. The original image made them look crazy mean, but they were playing friendly.
